To Kill a Mocking Bird screening

Saturday 14th September 2013 8pm

As part of European Heritage Open Days 2013, and in conjunction with the Belfast Film Festival, we screen this classic film in the 1st Presbyterian Church, Rosemary Street, Belfast. This church has an unusual history: in 1786 a group of rich merchants tried to set up a Belfast Slaveship Company, the crucial intervention of parishioner Thomas McCabe ensured that it did not happen. Belfast should be proud of this little known fact and we celebrate with this unique screening for EHOD 2013.
