In January 2011 Ciaran Mackel invited architect and writer Michael Sorkin, along with 15 New York–based students, to work alongside students at the Architecture PG1 in the University of Ulster. The ‘Missing City’ map formed a good starting point for the students’ studies and the groups took a section each to explore the city.
